dc.description.abstract | This research study examined factors influencing threat and risk perception of airport security employees in Norway. The results based on a qualitative approach (in depth interview and observation) showed that both external and internal factors are important in considering the perception of threat and what influences it. This researcher focused mainly on the latter one. The perception of threat exists and contains not only the risk of terror attacks (which can be said to be external) but also factors inside the organization at hand (internal factors).
Internal factors such as organization culture, safety culture, trust, possible destructive leadership, communication, and organizational learning appeared to be of high importance. | en |
