Abstract
An investigation of the transitional period between upper secondary school and the situation at the university: Focus on English and academic proficiency, the role of Literature and the students’ reading habits. The students involved are all attending one or more literature courses at the University. A number of the students are also part of the teacher-training programme Adjunkt- og Lektorprogrammet.
