dc.description.abstract | This study aims to identify the role of Social Media Influencers during the coronavirus pandemic, evaluate the strategies that the three chosen Social Media Influencers (Chris Hadfield, Jimmy Fallon and Ryan Reynolds) used to cope with the lockdown of 2020 pandemic, discuss how did this research help me overcome my own psychosocial distress during the lockdown of 2020 pandemic in Norway within the references of Standpoint Theory and assess critically whether the perfect formula to withstand self-isolation exists. Based on the findings of this research, the role of social media influencers (including the three influencers that were chosen) during the lockdowns was to inform, encourage, entertain, motivate and inspire their followers. Through their help and advice I was able to overcome my anxieties and stress that were triggered from the enforced solitude. In this thesis, I share the valuable tips and knowledge I learned regarding how can one withstand self-isolation. | |
