dc.description.abstract | This master thesis investigates the effect of the government response to the spread of Covid-19 virus on currency exchange rate in three Scandinavian countries – Denmark Norway and Sweden in the period January 2020-March 2021. Government response to the spread of Covid -19 is measured by an index calculated by a group of researchers at Oxford university. Our findings suggest that the way governments respond to the spread of Covid-19 affects currency exchange rates in all three countries. The effect leads to currency depreciation. | |
