dc.description.abstract | Treatment of oil spills and natural dissolvable contamination overall is a significant issue; a few methods are being worked on to eliminate oil from water. A few states of the art oil spill clean- up technologies are mentioned in the literature review with their pros and cons, current and future advancements in them are discussed as well. Oil spill contingency with response framework is studied and examined, in addition to the international legal bodies and agencies regulating them. The economic and political perspectives of oil spills and their cleanup are mentioned in detail to better understand what the future holds for the oil industry. | |
