dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, I will research how young people's social relationships can be influenced by social media platforms such as Instagram. Through reliable sources, I will organize and present the material in a well-structured article form. This thesis will consider how social media can affect young people's social relationships, including their ability to communicate, form emotional connections and maintain strong bonds with friends and family. The relationship has not changed in line with digital development. The need for human interaction and connections remains the same. However, social media has made it possible for young people to make new friendships, maintain and keep in touch with existing ones. Social media provides a platform for people to connect with others who share the same interests and hobbies. While it has made it easier to make contact with others, it has also led to challenges such as identity crisis and loneliness. Social media platforms create an unattainable ideal of what a perfect life should be, which can put pressure on young people to present a perfect image of themselves.
