Traumebevisst omsorg på institusjon

Abstract

Traumebevisst omsorg er en forståelsesramme som tar utgangspunkt i forskning om hvordan traumatiske opplevelser påvirker barn og unges fungering og utvikling. Problemstillingen i denne oppgaven er hvilke utfordringer og erfaringer har miljøterapeuter med traumebevisst omsorg på institusjon? For å prøve å svare på dette spørsmålet har jeg valgt kvalitativ metode, og har intervjuet fem miljøterapeuter som jobber på institusjon.

Trauma-informed care is a framework of understanding that is based on reaserch on how traumatic experiences affect children and young peoples functioning and development. My question in this thesis is what challenges and experiences do socialworkers have with trauma-informed care in institutions? To try to answer this question, i have chosen a qualitative method, and have interviewed five socialworkers who work in institutions.
