Abstract

Sammendrag: Denne oppgaven har en relasjonell forståelsesramme og tar for seg barn og unge med intellektuell funksjonsnedsettelse sine muligheter for deltakelse i samfunnet. Oppgaven belyser i et utviklingsøkologisk perspektiv, hvilke forhold som kan påvirke muligheter og begrensninger for deltakelse, og at dette oppstår i et samspill mellom samfunn og individ på ulike nivå. Tema som blir belyst er sosial deltakelse, tilhørighet og inkludering. Nøkkelord: Barn og unge med intellektuell funksjonsnedsettelse, deltakelse, mikro-, ekso- og makrovnivå.

Abstract: This thesis has a relational understanding framework and addresses children and young people with intellectual disabilities opportunities for participation in society. The thesis sheds light in a developmental ecological perspective, which conditions can affect opportunities and limitations for participation, and that this arises in an interaction between society and the individual at different levels.
