In this bachelor thesis, we address the following issue: "Has the customer segment at Norwegian campsites been changed as a result of Covid-19 compared to previous years?". In an attempt to answer this problem we conducted a survey distributed via social media, and analyzed public information from SSB Norway. We compared this against reports from the industry itself. The information gathered was analyzed in the hope of finding a connection between the pandemic and how the industry experienced 2020 compared to previous years. The thesis is from a marketing perspective with the main focus on how the customer segment was changed in relation to nationality and age, and what this had to say for the industry. Kotler's consumer behavior models provided the basis for the formulation of the questions in our survey, as well as parts of the discussion. Due to limitations in the nature of the thesis, it becomes difficult to draw concrete conclusions. But we believe that the results we have prepared can be a good basis for further research. It became clear through produces that several of our respondents have been affected by Covid-19, and that they changed their behavior as consumers because of the pandemic. The camping industry has had a unique experience because of this.
