Elite, makt og lobbyvirksomhet i Norge

Abstract

Denne oppgaven handler om hvordan vi kan forstå maktelitens innflytelse på det politiske systemet i Norge. Målet var å bruke litteraturstudie i form av vitenskapelige artikler, bøker, offentlige dokumenter og avisartikler til å undersøke problemstillingen. Analysen er basert på teorien om hvordan det politiske systemet i Norge blir påvirket både av valgkanalen og den korporative kanalen. Resultatet tyder til at vi har beveget oss i en ny retning, konsekvensen av dette er at det har ført til økt bruk av lobbyvirksomhet. Mektige aktører bruker økonomiske ressurser til å hyre inn lobbyister til å påvirke det politiske systemet. Funnene i oppgaven blir drøftet gjennom det teoretiske perspektivet at makt operer på to forskjellige nivåer. Avslutningsvis konkluderes det med at det finnes en mangel av forskningsdata på dette emnet, og det anbefales videre til videre forskning. Oppgaven gir også et nyere perspektiv på hvordan det politiske systemet blir påvirket i dag.

The paper is about how we can understand the influence of the elite on the political system in Norway. The goal is to use the method of literature review to survey scholarly articles, books, governmental documents, and newspaper articles to research the topic. The analysis is based on the thesis about how the political system in Norway is influenced by the voting system and the cooperation between the state and interest groups. The results indicate that we are moving in a new direction, and a consequence of this has resulted in an increase in the use of lobbying. Powerful individuals and interest groups use economic resources to hire lobbyists to influence the political sphere. The findings are discussed using the theoretical framework that power operates on two different levels. In conclusion, it’s possible to argue that the data identify a gap in this field of study and recommend further research into this topic. It also provides a new perspective on how the political system in Norway is influenced.
