Abstract
A picture says more than a thousand words. Visualization of problems often helps in a better understanding of what is happening. Plural observers can look at the same result. Observe different behaviors and
trends, coming to different conclusions, but the result does not change its form. It allows further discussion
where everyone involved has the same starting point. After inspection, observers curate descriptions, put
them into words, and then listeners interpret them. Many points of vulnerability can lead to loss of key
information and sometimes to grave misunderstandings. Thus, this work presents a visualization tool for
the Snarl repair algorithm. The application makes it possible to inspect the log file in a more informative
manner than just line by line in a text file. Data blocks and interconnections are represented as spheres and
lines, creating a mesh. The colors of the spheres and lines are changed to highlight the different states of
the objects. Providing an intuitive display of information where issues and solutions are easily viewable.
Further, the application allows the user to create a setup to test the download sequence of Snarl. It makes
it possible to test the Snarl download sequence, providing it with different starting points.
