Er Rødt et kommunistparti? En kvalitativ idéanalyse av Rødts ideologiske profil

Abstract

Det sosialistiske partiet Rødt har de siste årene etablert seg som et troverdig, rettferdig og folkelig parti i norsk politikk. I 2021 oppnådde de sitt politiske gjennombrudd da de brøt sperregrensen og sikret seg åtte representanter på Stortinget. I takt med Rødts voksende innflytelse, har diskusjonene om partiets ideologi fortsatt preges av kommunismen blusset opp. Formålet med denne bacheloroppgaven i statsvitenskap er derfor å vurdere Rødts ideologiske profil opp mot den kommunistiske ideologien. Fremgangsmåten har gått ut på å oppkonstruere en idealtype basert på de mest sentrale ideene i den kommunistiske ideologien, forså å se om disse ideene preger det ideologiske grunnlaget i partiprogrammene til Rødt. Funnene fra analysen avdekker at Rødts ideologiske profil er delvis kommunistisk.

The Socialist Party Red has in recent years established itself as a credible, fair, and populist party in Norwegian politics. In 2021, they achieved their political breakthrough by surpassing the electoral threshold and securing eight seats in the Norwegian parliament. In line with Red's growing influence, discussions about whether Red`s ideological profile is characterized by communist ideology has flared up. The purpose of this bachelor's thesis in political science is therefore to assess Red's ideological profile in relation to communist ideology. The approach has involved constructing an ideal type based on the most central ideas in communist ideology, and then examining whether these ideas shape Red`s ideological profile by analyzing Red`s party programs. The findings from the analysis reveal that Red's ideological profile partially consists of a communist ideology.
