The Greencoin project - A guideline for the implementation strategy

Abstract

This guideline presents the Greencoin initiative, a comprehensive Project designed to incentivize and reward environmentally friendly actions. By analysing the various components of Greencoin, the report aims to provide a replicable framework for other communities seeking to promote sustainable practices. The guideline is based on the results of the project’s data analysis, user feedback and the opinions of city authorities. It is aimed at citizens, urban educators, city representatives and departments, the general scientific community and European city governments. It presents the results of the project and possible ways to apply it in different cities.
