The thesis has the intention to answer the question of how people perceive quality of bicycle infrastructure. This is within the scope of users of infrastructure, the bike ride, natural environment and “hard” infrastructure. Bikeability is important to increase to promote cycling as a transport mode and satisfy the current cyclists. The modal shift is important for the urban environment to reduce emission from motor vehicles and create spaces where people feel safe. Multiple linear regression was used to find the estimation for coefficient that belong to each feature that is included as an attribute. Important factors for a positive perception are separated bike lanes, with separated by paint, vegetation buffer or a physical barrier. The quality is perceived in a positive way during summer compared to during the winter. The topography makes the infrastructure perceived in a positive way is the terrain is flat. Buses along the route have a negative effect on perception of bicycle infrastructure, especially for people in cities. People above 50 years, people living in a suburbia and people who do not have bicycle as a main mode of transport perceive the infrastructure in a more negative way than the overall group for heavy cycling traffic. Only people who cycle frequently prefer two-way cycling bike lane. Men have a stronger preference for priority in interaction with other users and summer season than females.
