dc.description.abstract | The companies Lyse AS, Stavangerregionen Havn IKS and Kolumbus has acquired electric shuttle boats to be used for sightseeing in Stavanger. Currently, there are no charging setup intended for the shuttle boats. The goal for this thesis is to develop a detailed 3D model of a charging tower which will be able to supply boats with charging cables. This will make charging of shuttle boats effortless and fast. The thesis regards the mechanical development in detail. | |
