Sammendrag
The significant growing IT and logistic field industry in Indonesia made Truku founders established a new online application system. As a result, Truku provided a platform for anyone who needed and demanded a truck as their main resource to do land logistic operations. However, the limited experiences of running the business made Truku needed more studies and research. Hence, during the studies, the learning process could create and gain opportunity and benefits. Moreover, from the research and activities, Truku collected feedback and insight for supporting data. But, with limited numerical data, there will be many limitations for the assessments.Professionals generally use some methods to conduct a risk assessment, for instance, quantitative risk assessment and qualitative risk assessment. However, the central concept in this master thesis is to do a qualitative risk assessment for Truku startup company as a subject analysis. In the qualitative risk assessment, I choose structure what-if techniques (SWIFT) to approach and identify the hazard, risk matrix, and Bayesian network. Then, the researcher proposed using those risk assessment methodology to identify risk caused by hazards and threats and analyse the activities to provide risk-reducing measures. The measurements help Truku reduce the probability of an undesirable event occurring before the undesirable event surprises with some unwanted consequences.
Keywords: qualitative risk assessments, Bayesian network, structure what-if analysis, risk matrix, startup company.
