The concept of the development of the Yuzhno-Obskoye field in the waters of the Ob Bay

Abstract

The purpose of this master's thesis is to create a concept for developing the Yuzhno-Obskoye field in the waters of the Ob Bay. Having analyzed the world experience in developing deposits as well as natural and geological conditions of the Yuzhno-Obskoye field there was proposed a solution that the field is supposed to be developed as a satellite of the Novoportovskoye field. Therefore, two development sites will be created on each of which a column-type base with a wellhead block will be installed. A residential module, a drilling complex, and a minimum of production preparation equipment will be installed on the platforms. Extracted hydrocarbons will flow through a multiphase pipeline to the central production facility of the Novoportovskoye field. In addition, according to the data of an analog field near the field production profiles were calculated taking into account the trend of falling flow rate at the wells of the Novoportovskoye field. The economic efficiency of the chosen arrangement option was also proved with an NPV of + 9,880 million rubles.
