dc.description.abstractWhat are children’s basic needs and how can we create a resilient environment? In this chapter the factors that are needed to create a safe and positive, healthy development for children will be presented. Some of these basic factors will be described in more detail, especially in connection to attachment and healthy neuropsychological development. The chapter emphasizes children’s rights and safety, as essential for children’s development. The importance of providing safety through attachment and teacher relations is highlighted.en_US
