This booklet presents software for Artificial Neural Network (ANN) modeling called Artificial Neural Network Model Developer (ANNMD). ANNMD is generic software for a system modeling with ANNs. Its development is based on initiatives from previous experiences in ANN modeling of energy systems. The main idea is to perform automated modeling with respect to initial weights, data randomization, number of neurons in hidden layer, sensitivity analysis and generalization aspect which will eventually contribute to optimal ANN-model solutions. Beside these basic parameters, which are important in every ANN modeling, many others, e.g. network type, learning algorithm, transfer functions, etc. were also implemented. One of the main features of the ANNMD is also a user-friendly interface with graphically presented results. The development of the ANNMD is a part of a research project which takes place at Risavika Gas Center (RGC) in Norway. The main activities related to this project are theoretical and experimental investigation of biogas fuelled technologies using advanced and intelligent modeling and monitoring tools. The project anticipates tests on three experimental systems, i.e. gas turbine, gas engine and fuel cell. Hence, the ANNMD will provide a necessary generic tool for the modeling purposes of the systems at RGC.en_US
