dc.description.abstract | Wireless Seabed to Surface Communication for real-time operations is a research project intended to develop a new solution for Halliburton subsea operation. The project goal is to provide a reliable solution for real-time pipeline monitoring in the harsh underwater environment. The solution can be invaluable for oil and gas companies by reducing the cost of pipeline monitoring and ensuring pipeline security. This thesis aims to develop a reliable and cheap solution that will replace the current one. To design a solution that needs to be reliable, robust and ready-to-use, commercial off-the-shelf equipment will be used. | nb_NO |
