Hvilke risikofaktorer har dyssosial personlighetsforstyrrelse overfor barn? Hva bør barnevernspedagoger fokusere på?

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven tar sikte på å belyse hvilke risikofaktorer dyssosial personlighetsforstyrrelse har overfor barn, og hva barnevernspedagoger bør fokusere på. Oppgaven benytter seg av et kvalitativ litteraturstudie der fire vitenskapelig forskningsartikler skal bidra til å belyse problemstillingen, og drøftes i lys av faglitteratur. Oppgavens formål er å sette lys på hvilke risikofaktorer barn kan bli utsatt for dersom de har én eller flere foreldre med psykiske lidelser, med særlig fokus på dyssosial personlighetsforstyrrelse, og hvilke konsekvenser dette kan ha for barnet. Oppgaven trekker frem flere potensielle risikofaktorer, men tar samtidig høyde for at hvert enkelt tilfelle er unikt. Alt dette ses i et barnevernsfaglig perspektiv, der også barnevernspedagogens hjelperrolle blir trukket frem som en viktig komponent i arbeidet mot å hjelpe risikoutsatte barn.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to shed light on the risk factors antisocial personality disorder represents towards children, and what child welfare workers should focus on. The thesis uses a qualitative method of literature review where four scientific research articles will help to highlight the thesis statement, and be discussed in the light of academic literature. The purpose of the thesis is to shed light on what risk factors children may be exposed to if they have one or more parents with mental disorders, with a special focus on antisocial personality disorder, and what consequences this may have for the child. The thesis highlights several potential risk factors, but at the same time takes into account that each individual case is unique. All this holds a child welfare professional perspective, where the child welfare workers helping role is also highlighted as an important component in the work towards helping children at risk.
