dc.description.abstract | In recent years, we have seen a significant increase in the spread of misinformation, also known as fake news, especially on social media. Any user could share a claim or a misrepresentation of something, and in a few hours, it would have gained a lot of traction over the whole world. This does not mean that every piece of misinformation will be spread across the world, but with the current technology, everyone has the opportunity. The growing problem with fake news is not going away anytime soon, but with this thesis we want to create a web application representing the spread of fake news across different social media. | |
