Allvis - applikasjon for visualisering av samlet informasjon

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven hadde som formål å lage en web-applikasjon somkunne vise informasjon kontinuerlig gjennom hele dagen ved informasjons-tavler i kontorlokalene til Profitbase.Prosjektet ble presentert av Profitbase, og vi studenter sto fritt til å velgehvordan oppgaven skulle løses. Produktet skal bidra til å gjøre det lettere for bedriftens medarbeidere å følge med på hva som foregår i selskapet, samtskape ett samlingspunkt i arbeidslokalene. Hovedfokuset for prosjektet harvært å lage en fungerende web-applikasjon med et fint og oversiktlig designhvor informasjonen kommer tydelig frem til brukeren. Vi studenter haddeogså fokus på å konstruere kode som er lett å videreutvikle i senere anledningom Profitbase ønsket dette.Oppgaven viser prosessen for å utvikle en Web-applikasjon for de ansattei Profitbase. Applikasjonen består av en lysbildeframvisning hvor informa-sjon fra ulike medier blir vist. Dataene er hentet fra Twitter, Facebook ognyhetskanalene NRK og VG. Applikasjonen vil også vise informasjon somdato, klokke, lunsj og vær. Lysbildeframvisningen skal være mulig å admi-nistrere via en egen administratorside.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to create a web application that could display information continuously throughout the day on information boards in the office premises of Profitbase. The project was presented by Profitbase, and we were free to choose how the task was solved. The product will make it easier for the company's employees to follow what is going on in the company, as well as create a meeting point in the work premises. The main focus of the project has been to create a working web application with a nice and clear design where the information clearly reaches the user. We students also focused on constructing code that is easy to further develop on at a later occasion if Profitbase chooses to do so. The thesis shows the process of developing a Web application for the employees at Profitbase. The application consists of a slide show where information from various media is displayed. The data is taken from Twitter, Facebook and the news channels NRK and VG. The application will also display information such as date, time, lunch and weather. The slide show must be possible to administer via a separate administrator page.
