dc.description.abstractWith the rapid growth of Companies’ trust and willingness to move their on premisesbased Software solutions to the Cloud environments , multiple challenges and requirementsarise due to these shift.First and foremost is related to the security of their resourcesthat are hosted inside the cloud environment. As the infrastructure that is used toprovide computational, storage, networking, and other resources that are required tohost application, are not in full control of the customers.One requirement is related tomonitor the overall working of the applications that are being shifted to the the Cloudenvironment. With monitoring , we refer to how the application is being used by thecustomers , are there any anomalies inside the application and other issues that areimportant to monitor.Similarly, the customer also want to automate the deploymentof the application in the cloud to remove the unnecessary time that is spent in the lifecycle of application from the Development environment to the Production. Also thereis one more related thing with the deployment and that is versioning of the softwarebecause it is important to know which version of the application is being deployed in thecloud as application can have many test versions as well but we only want an applicationthat is tested properly and is bug free. It is therefore important to see how we candeploy application inside a cloud environment while have a complete control of thebehaviour, security, its versions, and its deployment. To address these issues, we havetaken an accounting application application which is being hosted inside Microsoft Azureand develop a monitoring architecture , a version control system , proposed a securityarchitecture and an automatic Deployment Process to deliver this application to target customers.
