dc.description.abstract | Academic Credentials are documents used to show that someone has achieved an academic result. In the Academic world today there exists a lot of corruption and fraud surrounding academic credentials. Maintaining the integrity of academic credentials is vital to the modern educational system. Corruption, diploma mills and fraud have long been a difficult issue to deal with. Saramago et al has developed a new system for creating verifiable diplomas with issuer transparency, a system that aims to make fraud and corruption easier to detect and prevent. In this thesis we explore this system and how feasible it is to implement and use. | |
