dc.description.abstract-Abstract- In the world we live in at this age, Social Media takes an enormous place in our daily lives. For various reasons to use, Social Media is one of the new communication tools to sustain interaction with others. With the beginning of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19) Pandemic, this place has become more significant for individuals’ psychological wellbeing. In this qualitative research, five people in their 20s in Turkey were interviewed to understand how Social Media influenced their psychological wellbeing during the COVID 19 Pandemic, especially throughout lockdowns. The collected data has been analyzed with thematic analysis and discussed in the light of Erving Goffman’s dramaturgical theory to enlighten the triangle relationship between Social Media and Social Interaction and Psychological Wellbeing. This relationship model has been named “the survival triangle” and explained in detail. The direct and indirect influences on Psychological Wellbeing have been defined due to the roles of Social Media. -As of June 06, 2022 there has been the death of 98.996 people of 15.085.742 cases reported by the Turkish Ministry of Health, and Turkey is the 10th country having the most cases worldwide.-
