Sammendrag
The challenge, of global inclination of high-level emissions of carbon dioxide and otheremissions including aviation emissions into the atmosphere, causing increasing rate of globalwarming issues, greenhouse effects, noise pollution and other social hindrances due to theincreased indulgence, people’s mobility from point A to point B and industrialisation. Thisemission, cause environmental and health problems which therefore must be controlled at thevarious sectors including the Aviation industry.Comparatively, electric planes are more environmentally friendly to conventional planes. Thethesis focuses on the transition of electric plane using the Multi Level Perspective Framework(MLP) to analyse the transition. The Multi-level perspective framework is a transition framework which explores socio technicaltransitions, at three (3) analytical levels known as the niche, regime, and landscape levels.A qualitative analysis was conducted, on electric plane transition in Norway by interviewing five(5) people, the first is an aviation transport industrialist. The second is a lecturer in UiS.The thirdis an aviation expert based in USA. Fourth is Entrepreneur based in Ghana and fifth person is anengineer from Ghana. The present study revealed, electric planes transition is at the Niche level, where there is a hightendency to reach regime level within the shortest possible time.
