Sammendrag
In this thesis the reasoning for the difference in access to the Internet among households is identified. While there is no definite answer, some of the prominent factors and potential reasons behind the differences are discussed. These relate to political factors, economic factors, and the infrastructure in each country. For this paper, the United States, Germany, and Norway have been chosen as examples to illustrate some of the aforementioned factors. All three of these countries have a slightly different appearance in table one, which provides explanations for some of the key factors behind the various distinctions of the countries.
