Abstract

I denne oppgaven tar jeg for meg problemstillingen «I hvilken grad var konsekvensene av pandemien mer skadelig enn selve viruset for unge og studenter?».

For å finne ut mer rundt dette temaet tar jeg i bruk forskningsartikler som omhandler Covid-19 pandemiens konsekvenser og virusets skadeomfang. Jeg tar også i bruk noen undersøkelser som omhandler ensomhetsfølelse, og hvordan nedstengingen av Norge ble oppfattet hos en gruppe unge. Teoriene som er brukt i oppgaven er valgt for å illustrere hvordan pandemien kan ramme unge og studenter basert på utviklingsstadiet de er i. Jeg tar også for meg viktigheten av nære relasjoner og sosial kontakt.

In this thesis, I address the issue "To what extent were the consequences of the pandemic more harmful than the virus itself for young people and students?".

To find out more about this topic, I use research articles that deal with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic and the extent of the virus' damage. I also use some research that deals with feelings of loneliness, and how the lockdown of Norway was perceived by a group of young people. The theories used in the thesis have been chosen to illustrate how the pandemic can affect young people and students based on the stage of development they are in. I also consider the importance of close relationships and social contact.
