Welfare and migration: Transitions into and out of welfare benefits receipt among Polish migrant workers in Norway

Abstract

Aiming at filling the void of knowledge on the micro foundations of immigrants’ interactions with the host country’s welfare, this dissertation discusses the dynamic model of work-welfare transitions. It explains how transitions into and out of welfare benefits receipt occur among migrants in the long run.
