Abstract

Det finnes ulike grunner til at en arbeidstaker ønsker å si opp jobben sin eller at en begynner å tenke på turnover intensjoner. Mye gjenspeiler seg selv i andre land. Det vil si at hotell industrien har de samme problemene likt som i Norge som i Pakistan eller India og som i USA. Hotell industrein har en av de høyeste turnover ratene sammenlignet med andre bransjer og en kan da tenke seg hvor høy turnover intensjonen er da det er en enkel tanke å få etter en lang og tung dag på jobb kontra å faktisk si opp jobben. For å kunne redusere arbeidstakernes turnover intensjon må vi se på de faktorene som skaper nok tvil og frustrasjon i bransjem til at ansatte vurderer å si opp jobbene sine.

There are diufferent reasons as to why an employee would liek to terminate their contract or that they are just debating whether or not to stay by having turnover iuntentions. There are a lot of similarities throughout the different countries in the world. There are for instance the same problems and difficulties in the hotel industry in Norway, as is the United Stated, as in Pakistan or India. This is due to the fact that it is such an international business. The hotel industry has one of the highest turnover rates compared to other industries, one can therefore only think about how high the turnover intention rate is within the hotel industry as it is very easy to have a thought about leaving the business after a long and tiring day at work. To be able to reduse the employee´s turnover intention one must look at the current issues and different factorst taht are playing a part. the with good communication and cooperation one can reduse the numbers.
