Abstract

Denne artikkelen utforsker konseptet menneskelig eksepsjonalisme og argumenterer for hvorfor dystopiske tekster som Never Let Me Go og Brave New World kan fungere som essensielle verktøy for å forstå dette konseptet om menneskelig eksepsjonalisme. Forfatterne av de to bøkene har skapt samfunn som har tatt konseptet av menneskelig eksepsjonalisme til det ekstreme, og disse historiene fungerer som et varsel om hvordan ting kan utvikle seg.

This paper explores the concept of human exceptionalism and argues why dystopian texts like Never Let Me Go and Brave New World can act as essential tools for the understanding of this concept of human exceptionalism. The authors of the two books have created societies that has taken this concept to the extreme and these stories can act as a warning of how things can develop.
