Winston Churchill og dronning Elizabeth II - om representasjoner og forholdet mellom statsminister og makr.

Abstract

Representasjoner av kjente folk er intet nytt. Det er blitt skrevet uttalelige biografier og litterære tekster om folk forfatterne mener har en historisk betydning. Det samme gjelder Winston Churchill og tidligere dronning Elizabeth II. I denne bachelorppgaven skal jeg ta for meg hvordan de har blitt fremstilt i utvalgte biografier, og hvordan de er portrettert i Netflix-serien "The Crown".

Representations of famous people isn't something new. Countless biographies and literaty texts has been written by various authers who claim these texts have an important historical meaning. This includes also Winston Churchill and the former Queen Elizabeth II. In this bachelor thesis I will examine preselected biographies, and how Churchill and the Queen are representented in the Netflix-series "The Crown".
