Abstract
Misinformation and the spread of false news present an increasing challenge in our society. With the rise of generative artificial intelligence, the dissemination of false news has escalated, making it impossible to combat solely through manual fact-checking. Factiverse has developed several products with a technology that automatically fact-checks texts by sourcing relevant information. In our thesis, we have incorporated Factiverse's technology and large language models to develop an interactive chat application. This application can identify when a user wants to verify specific claims or text and performs a fact-check in real-time. Furthermore, in addition to presenting fact-check results, the chat provides suggestions for follow-up questions. The objective is to increase curiosity among users, encourage them to delve deeper into topics and make well-informed decisions.
