Oppgåva spørje spørsmålet om dataspel har gjort ein historisk korrekt representasjonen, av tungtvatn aksjonen ved Vemork kraftverk på Rjukan i Telemark. I oppgåva brukas dataspela Medal of Honor (1999) og Battlefield V (2018), for å sjå om deira representasjonen av den historiske hendinga er historisk korrekt. Teksten gjeve også ein kort forklaring på historiebruk innan dataspel og historisk kontekst for båe dataspel og andre verdskrig. Gjennom oppgåva vert ein kjent med korleis spela velje å fortelja hendinga, og korleis deira endringa frå verkelegheita hjelpe med å opplysa spelaren om den historiske hendinga. This paper asks the question about videogames recreation of the historical events that transpired during the Heavy Water sabotage at Vemork hydro power plant in Rjukan, Telemark, Norway. Using the video games Medal of Honor (1999) and Battlefield V (2018) and compering their illustration of the event, by analysing the games and finding their historical accuracy. The paper also gives a short explanation of history use in video games and some historical context on both video games and the second world war. The findings from the research tells a story of games changing historical events to enlighten its player to seek more information on the subject.
